Emilie Chedid is a multidisciplinary artist, author-director and illustrator. She was trained very early in drawing and graphic design at the school of rue Charles Fourrier in the 13th arrondissement of Paris. The discovery of painting software on a digital tablet brings to her drawings a mix between craft and digital art. Her approach translates intimate events,
situations that touch her and that she wishes to keep in memory. The treatments (pencil, ink, paint, watercolor) she uses, as well as the intense and sharp colors, give these illustrations an authentic feel.
Ghost Clusters, her first written and illustrated graphic novel was published in 2020. It relates her daily life and that of her two daughters with humor and poetry in the middle of the pandemy.
