Galerie Ars Longa, dynamic and contemporary
Founded in 2020 in Aix-en-Provence by Marina Fauvey, an art historian and contemporary art consultant, Galerie Ars Longa supports and champions both established and emerging artists by developing exhibition projects, outreach initiatives and opportunities for them to engage with their audiences.
As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting creativity, Galerie Ars Longa works with the artists it represents to create ambitious and eclectic exhibitions, conceived as encounters between different artistic practices, sensibilities and generations. The gallery pays particular attention to the quality of the works on display, the coherence of each curatorial proposal, and the way in which each artist can find their place within a dialogue with other contemporary artistic practices.
From the start of the 2026 academic year, the Ars Longa Gallery will expand its reach by organising even more events, off-site exhibitions and curatorial projects at various prestigious art venues in France and abroad, and will continue its mission to promote the artists it supports through its participation in contemporary art fairs and exhibitions. As part of this new phase, Galerie Ars Longa will expand its art advisory and valuation services, offering personalised support to collectors, businesses and institutions in their art and heritage projects.
The Ars Longa Gallery team will now welcome you by appointment during temporary exhibitions at the Hôtel Particulier de Gassier in Aix-en-Provence and will regularly organise series of lectures and events bringing together artists, curators, exhibition organisers, philosophers and sociologists, with the aim of creating a space for dialogue on the aesthetic, cultural and societal issues that underpin contemporary art and, more broadly, the transformations taking place in today’s world.
The Ars Longa Gallery is a permanent member of the Provence Art Contemporain (PAC) network, a regional network of contemporary art organisations in France, and of the Aix en Galeries association.
