Galerie Ars Longa, dynamic and contemporary
Galerie Ars Longa opened its doors in 2020 and is located in the historic district of Aix-en-Provence at 2 rue jaubert. The gallery was founded by art historian and contemporary art consultant Marina Fauvey.
Galerie Ars Longa presents current artistic creation and supports established and emerging artists, promoting and distributing their work.
As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting the creative process, the gallery produces and finances artists for their work, and regularly collaborates with them on site-based projects in the gallery space. Committed to its mission of disseminating contemporary art, Galerie Ars Longa hosts a wide range of events: Talks, meetings, openings, artist performances, off-site events, contemporary art fairs in France and abroad.
The Galerie Ars Longa brings art and its territory to life in a reality that is lived in the present, through the reflections of the artists with whom it works in close collaboration, on various current issues, whether aesthetic, societal, ecological, historical, etc. The Galerie Ars Longa is a permanent member of the Provence Art Contemporain (PAC) network, a territorial network of contemporary art structures in France, and of the Aix en Galeries association.
