Attached to the intimacy of friendships, Clémence Bruno captures and immortalizes the gentleness, fragility and love we feel for our friends, who have become our second family. By depicting everyday moments, the exhibition explores those moments when “being together” is the whole that soothes existence, those moments of exchange and confession, when the ties that bind us to our friends are strengthened. In the nostalgia of a summer melting between the orange leaves of autumn, the artist reminds us of these rediscovered friendships; a pause in time where the works whisper that friends are the remedy for solitude.
