The Power of Images proposes a dialogue between several generations of artists, from Narrative Figuration and Free Figuration to contemporary art, while also including abstraction. The exhibition will explore the power of the image and its ability to narrate, bear witness, question, or transform our perception of the world. From narrative images to abstract ones, from the representation of reality to the expression of a sensation, the works on display reflect the diversity of artistic languages and their evolution.
Through this dialogue between eras, sensibilities, and practices, The Power of Images invites viewers to see their surroundings in a new light and to reflect on what images reveal about our era, our imagination, and ourselves.
